Toast to the rescue! I have a special place in my heart for Toastmaster, since there's a house in my neighborhood that was built with Toastmaster profits. The inventor of the machine was a Minneapolis fellow, and I hope he made a bundle. It's possible the house was built by one of the owners of the company that brought it to market. In any case, it's the House of Toast, and it is enormous: it sits atop a hill, has huge walls and actual battlements.
I'd show you a picture on Google street view, but it doesn't go in my neighborhood, for reasons I've never been able to figure out. It's not like we post guards with shotguns and dogs. |
